USA Yeast was organized in 2003 by Mike Lavallee and a group of investors to manufacture and sell bakers yeast. Their state of the art production facility is located in Hattiesburg, MS. Mr. Lavallee has over 30 years of experience in the yeast industry. He and the USA team are experts in all aspects of the yeast making process. USA Yeast is one of only two American owned yeast companies.
USA is ideally located in Hattiesburg, MS on a rail spur providing easy access to raw materials. USA has the ability to load multiple cream yeast trailers at the same time. All equipment is thoroughly cleaned prior to loading at the covered load out facility.
